Sri Pataladhri Narasimhar Thirukovil (Pataladhripuram)

Sri Pataladhri Narasimhar Temple, also known as Singaperumal Koil, is a historic and sacred temple located near Chennai. It is dedicated to Lord Narasimha, the fierce incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and is uniquely carved into a red sandstone hill, giving the temple a striking appearance and the name "Pataladhri" which means "red hill." The deity here is seen in a calm, seated posture, believed to protect devotees from fear and evil.
